Exceptionally kind, gentle, polite horse looking for a permanent, non-riding home. Atlas was a great horse to ride both in the arena and on the trail, and has had a lot of quality training, but he has been diagnosed with arthritis in his neck that explains his recent, surprising bucking behavior. He is clearly not comfortable carrying a rider anymore, but would love to engage in groundwork exercises, and is a wonderfully easy horse to handle. Atlas loves attention, gets on well with other horses, is healthy, barefoot, and UTD on all care. **To an approved home with excellent references!!** Please include vet, farrier, boarding or landlord references (if applicable), a description of your experience with horses, and your intentions for Atlas. We are interested in knowing: * Where will he live?--pasture, paddock, stall, dimensions, shelter, etc. * Will he have friends? List other horses or animals on the property. * What will he eat? Tell us about your feeding program. * How often will he see the farrier? The vet? tell us about your schedule. * Who will care for him? Who is responsible for your horses’ daily care Thank you!
