Joe's Otto is a stunning Rose Grey unraced Thoroughbred Gelding. Although we have his registered name, his papers have been lost.
Zion stands a solid 17H with bone structure one would confuse him as a warmblood.
Zion is not your average Thoroughbred. He is more whoa than go by nature. He has a beautiful trot, and balanced uphill canter but Zion is never anxious or in a hurry to go anywhere. He loves strolling around.
Zion has never been on the track and was started as a barrel prospect but has enjoyed being a trail horse instead. He loves water and is bold and brave. He is not bothered or spooky by anything.
Last fall he went to Lake Michigan on the coldest, windiest day and happily walked through the white caps of the waves.
Zion doesn't have a huge desire to jump. However, true to his nature he will do anything asked of him.
I can see Zion being perfect for a Dressage rider who also wants to trail ride. He is the same horse if he is ridden consistently or if he sits for months.
Zion is currently learning to find his impulsion and follow the bit for Training Level Dressage. He is also moving off from riders aids.
He has excellent ground manners, he trailer loads and uploads with no drama. Ties, baths, up to date and ready for his new adventures.
