Kelpie was purchased from a horse trader/flipper, so history is unknown. Was sold to us as beginner safe, moves off leg beautifully. We've had her for 7 years and really need to downsize our herd. I have taken her trail riding and used her as a weaning "auntie" for foals. She loves the babies so much, she had one of her own in 2025 (great mother, easy at-home foaling). Loves people, just wants to be friends with humans and other horses. Sound with no maintainence, teeth floated in April 2026. All that being said, she has had 2 "panic attacks" under saddle at home. Someone with more velcro in their seat may be able to work her through it. She's been off for 3 years, though a quick bareback ride was completely uneventful.
