Gemini was born on a ranch in Oregon and spent extensive time being ridden on a ranch in Wyoming. He thrives when he has a purpose and would make an excellent ranch, or performance prospect for the right experienced rider.
He is an affectionate, in-your-pocket type of horse that genuinely enjoys people and has been well cared for his entire life. ☺️ He's only had two owners his entire lifetime. The first one to meet you at the gate! Gemini is incredibly athletic with excellent stamina and can go all day. He has been barefoot for nearly his entire life and has exceptionally strong, healthy hooves. Sells sound.
Gemini has also been successfully shown and was shown as recently as last year. He brought home a 1st in Ranch Rail, and a 1st in Western Pleasure Halter and 2nd in Ranch Halter at his last show. His athleticism, and versatility make him a forward, fun ride.
Gemini loads, hauls, and trailers exceptionally well. Bathes, ties, stands to be trimmed, easy to deworm and vaccinate. He walks, trots, and canters under saddle, and has the loveliest floaty trot. Understands seat and leg cues and has been ridden in a snaffle, jointed curb bit and bitless. He knows how to collect, stop, back up, open gates, pick up his leads, and go over obstacles/water. Gemini has had extensive groundwork done, and knows how to lunge. He is smart, responsive and enjoys learning. Gemini can be spooky especially in new environments, thus needing a confident rider.
In the pasture, Gemini is playful but tends to be lower on the pecking order with other horses. He gets along well with others, and respects fences.

Gemini is best suited for an experienced, confident rider who will give him consistent work and regular interaction. He is not a horse that enjoys sitting in a pasture without a purpose—he truly shines when worked often and has someone to bond with.
This is a difficult decision, but due to ongoing spinal issues, I am looking for a horse better suited to my physical state and goals. My priority is finding Gemini the right home where he can continue doing what he loves and to be well cared for.
