Scout is a 6yr old grade buckskin gelding. He is a fun sized, 13.2/13.3hh. He is a kind, quiet, and calm horse looking for the same from his rider. He has a friendly personality. Quiet around dogs and kids.
Scout will be an excellent horse for someone who enjoys trail riding, some occasional arena work, or someone looking for a calm and safe equine partner. He is not a forward mover and walks slow and steady, but will still maintain a trot well when asked. That said, he is suited well for an intermediate rider. He’d also be a great horse to pony small children along or lead line.
He is an easy keeper and UTD on vet/farrier. Easy to catch, stands tied, easy to haul, stands for the farrier, etc.
