Proudly carrying the bloodlines of the legendary One Time Pepto, as an own daughter of Ima One Time Pepto. Her pedigree is backed not only by proven performance, but by generations of ability, athleticism, and trainability. Her dam was a proven 1/2D barrel horse, and her sire was also a successful performer.
Jersey is a home raised horse that does not have the extra edge/fire to make a competitive athlete as a barrel horse. She does however show great potential and have all the characteristics to be an outstanding show mare in the ranch events or on the trail. Laid back, slow gaits and consistent movements with the confirmation to boot.
Jersey stands quietly to be bathed and saddled, takes a bit willingly, loads on the trailer right away and will stand for the farrier. She’s the first one to meet you at the gate, easy to catch and just loves attention. She doesn’t require any special maintenance unless you’re going to ride her on the gravel roads, then throw a set of shoes on her.
Standing at 15 hands and weighing approximately 1,175 pounds, Jersey is a substantial, correct, big-bodied mare with the hip, bone structure, and presence that catches your eye. She is rich in color with her mane and tail as thick as they are long. She is the kind of mare that has the smooth movements, mind, and foundation to be developed into a versatility or trails partner. Ride her now and raise some beautiful babies out of her later.
