Luján is a handsome 2016 Azteca gelding looking for a home where he can get back to doing what he enjoys. He has experience showing in both English and Western classes through 4-H and local open shows, where he was successful and enjoyable to ride. Before I left for college, we had begun focusing on dressage and english riding disciplines which I believe he has excellent potential to excel in. Unfortunately, life took me in a different direction, and I haven’t been able to give him the time he deserves under saddle. While Luján has not been ridden in the past couple of years, he continues to receive regular groundwork each month and handles it well. Because he has been out of consistent work and has the typical chestnut personality, I am looking for an experienced, confident rider who can bring him back into a regular program. This is a very difficult decision, and I am in absolutely no rush to sell him. Finding the right home is far more important than making a quick sale.
