Bristol is a registered Driftwood. She is up for adoption as she has a turned out leg and limp. She is built thick.

She is not sound due to a turned-out leg from the knee down. We were told she could receive surgery to correct her leg, but we have not pursued that option, as it’s not something we could do for her. She could do well with injections and or shoes but we haven’t had the time to put in the work she needs. Bristol does have a sibling with the exact same leg who grew out of it and is riding sound.

Bristol would make a great riding horse if you’re willing to put in the money and time, or she would make a wonderful pasture pet, companion horse, or even a therapy horse for kids. I am not exaggerating when I say she is incredibly sweet. She is the first to come up to you in the field and absolutely loves attention and butt scratches. She has a very playful personality and can be mouthy at times. She is very curious and willing to try new things. Bristol was started under saddle and has been ridden in the past. She has also roped the dummy when she was younger and showed a good stop at the walk, trot, and lope. However, she has not been worked since and has mostly been sitting. She is very nicely built with a friendly temperament. She ties, leads, loads, good for ferrier and is up to date on vaccines. She does need her teeth done. She’s lived mostly her whole life out in the field with 4 other horses.
