Meet Romeo! This gentleman is a 5 yr old titled mustang gelding from South Steens, standing at 15.1 hands . He has solid ground manners …ties quietly , loads well , good for the farrier , loves bathes , easy on fencing , and easy to catch ! Under saddle he is a solid walk trot , canter , started lateral work into the trot …and can carry himself softly in the bridle . I would say he still needs a rider to help balance him in the canter but he is well on his way . He is responsive to his riders aids but very safe …no buck rear or bolt . I would consider him on the forward side but sane ! I would love to see him thrive with a dressage type rider ….or someone pursuing working equitation would love this horse . Although we have not focused on trails for Romeo’s education here , we have ridden him outside the arena and exposed him to a plethora of scary things ! He is comfortable around tractors , bikes , chickens , chainsaws , dogs, pigs and much more .
