Dixie is by VR HEZ PRITZI EPIC, son of EPIC LEADER. He’s a proven futurity performer with earnings continuing to grow. He has been a futurity champion/round winner. VR HEZ PRITZI EPIC is out of SHERI OH.
Dixie is out of SAS ONE TUFF FILLY, by FIRST DINASTIA, son of FIRST DOWN DASH. Also on her side are Dash For Cash, First Prize Rose, Runaway Winner, Beduino, Special Effort

GROUNDWORK/HANDLING/EXPOSURE:
She’s a quick learner, willing, and responds very quickly to consistent handling. She’s had a great deal of exposure and groundwork put into her.
- Halter broke and respectfully leads including going through gates and in out of stalls
- Stands tied by herself
- Picks up all 4 feet for hoof picking and has stood well for the farrier
- Accepts fly spray
- Bathes
- Loaded and hauled wonderfully as a weanling, but has not been hauled recently and so may need a refresher
- Walked over different surfaces like a wooden bridge, gravel, puddles, etc.
- Lightly started on lunging on a lunge line
- Lightly started on accepting the saddle pad on her back
- Completely comfortable with being pet a lot all over her body including face, ears, belly, legs, butt. Used to being groomed.
- Raised around lots of farm activity including trucks, skid steers, tractors, etc.
- Raised and gentle with all kinds of livestock including other horses, dogs, cats, goats, turkeys, geese, ducks, chickens, pigs, etc. She is currently staying in a paddock with a pig, turkey, chickens, and dogs.
- Respects fences and has never challenged or pushed on fence lines.
With the above groundwork under her belt, she is ready for someone to continue her training and start her under saddle!
