RT Roan Valor is a beautiful 12-year-old roan mare with Blue Valentine breeding. We purchased her two years ago while she was in foal with her third baby, and she has been an exceptional mother to all three foals.
We were told she originally came from a ranch in Missouri (though I have no paperwork to verify that), and based on her calm, willing attitude both on the trail and in the arena, I believe that story fits her well.
Over the past year, we’ve primarily used her as a trail horse and have taken her to a few youth rodeos. She’s the type that doesn’t seem to get bothered by much. My husband, who has only been riding for about six years, has ridden her extensively and gets along with her great. Several confident teenage riders in our family have ridden her as well and absolutely love her.
She has a smooth trot, an easy, slow lope, and is enjoyable to spend a day on.

This is a hard sale for us. My oldest has decided riding just isn’t her passion anymore, and with four horses, it simply doesn’t make sense for us to keep them all. We’d love to see Roanie go to a home where she’ll continue to be enjoyed.
