By Urucum HM (IALHA Andalusian) out of Sweet Candy Arcaya (IALHA Half Andalusian) June is a lovely, straightforward mare who has been brought along in a classical dressage program. She is currently schooling second level, with lovely trot half passes and starting canter half passes. She offers very naturally easy to sit gaits and is very soft and light in the contact. She is on the lazier side under saddle, and not hot off the leg. She has no buck/bolt/rear. She can be look-y under saddle (Generally just cocks her head to the side as she goes past) . This is easily avoided by having a rider who just doesn’t pay attention or laughs it off. We also do rope halter work with her. She has been w/t/c bareback in a rope halter, and we often school her in a halter or just a simple snaffle bridle. She is regularly ridden by a JR rider, and is a super mare to teach lessons on.She has been incredibly forgiving and tolerant with a variety of different riders on her, all varying levels of experience. She spent a year in Wellington, FL in an FEI trainer's program and was schooling half steps/green flying change/all canter laterals etc. I bought her to show alongside my PSG mare, but simply don't have the time or finances to commit to her so she hung out over the 2026 winter and was brought back to work in April. She's a very easy keeper, barefoot. She lives out 24/7 in a group of mares, good for the farrier, good for the vet. She has wonderful ground manners and is incredibly pleasant to handle in the barn. She requires no maintenance and is very sound. She was started later in life (6-7), and doesn't have much wear and tear. My ideal situation for June is a JR/YR or adult amateur looking for a fun horse to learn the lateral work on. June is not for a timid rider as she looks to her rider for confidence and does best with a rider who laughs/looks past her occasional shy to the side. She prefers a forward, soft hand. She is UTD on dental, vaccines, and coggins. If you are interested in June- Please *do not* message me on DreamHorse. I rarely see my messages. Please message me at (717) 855-8164
