Freedom is a beautiful 7-year-old, 14.2h Quarter Horse/Thoroughbred cross gelding with a sweet, affectionate personality, willing attitude, and plenty of athletic ability. He is an intelligent, quick learner who genuinely enjoys having a job and spending time with his person.
Freedom previously served as a lesson horse at a therapy farm, giving him valuable experience working with people and being exposed to a variety of situations. He absolutely loves trail riding and is comfortable riding both alone and with a group. He is a dependable partner on the trail and is comfortable around other horses, dogs, blowers, UTVs, and farm animals.
Freedom has a beautiful, smooth canter and is naturally athletic and versatile. He has been trained to side pass and open gates, can be ridden bitless, and is comfortable being ridden bareback. He also knows a few fun tricks that always make people smile. He is smart, willing, and picks up new things quickly.
On the ground, Freedom is incredibly social and personable. He will meet you at the gate ready to spend time with you, is easy to catch, loads, ties, bathes, and stands quietly for the farrier. He handles new situations well and is an easy keeper.

He is only being offered due to his owner’s health issues, which have made it increasingly difficult to give him the time and care he deserves.
