Searching for the perfect kid pony? Come meet Arti! He has packed around my daughter (and nieces and nephews, friends’ babies, and everyone in between) faithfully and reliably. Arti is great for beginners, building up confidence in the saddle with timid riders, and has the experience to support more seasoned riders too.

We have mostly ponied our young kids on Arti but can speak to his experiences as a pony club horse from his previous owner. He is light and responsive. He stands patiently for mounting, whether from a block or the ground. Trots ground poles effortlessly and does all the things a little kid could possibly think of to drag their pony into.

We’ve taken Arti on many trails, over bridges and through water. He packs my daughter safely at home and away at playdays, walks on teeter-totters and rolling bridges, confidently steps onto a pedestal, and walks over tarps without hesitation.

He’s been a solid citizen in every way, fitting in with kids, dogs, big horses, tractors and the likes. He loads and unloads with ease, travels quietly, and is a pleasure to handle. He comes in willingly from the pasture and is simple to halter.

Arti is sound, healthy, and up to date on dental care, farrier, vaccines and deworming. Additional videos and pictures are available— or come meet him and take him for a ride!
