Impressive breeding to include “Peptoboonsmal”

Alaska is quiet under saddle and enjoys arena work. I ride her in the custom-made western saddle that was made for her. I occasionally ride her in my dressage saddle as well. She presents quite well in neck reining, and has an incredible smooth, lope and trot. She has a thick athletic build. She’s been roped off and drug calfs for branding.

My husband and I trailer our horses to go trail riding; she excels on the trails. She’s more confident when following a lead horse. She loves to canter uphill, which I love as she’s super smooth. Best time ever.

She would do well with a beginner with a trainer, and or an advanced rider who wants ranch versatility, or to work cattle. She worked cattle in her fourth and fifth year. I’ve had her for about a year. I’m selling her as my focus is dressage and solo riding. This mare needs a job and to be focused. I’m not the right owner for her. I’ve moved her over to a trainer in Elizabeth, Colorado, whose focus is 100% western and she’ll work cows as well. You can jump on YouTube under Montes Stylish Oak. The video shows her foundation work for about 11 minutes. The video shows her at five years old. She was sold to a woman in Arizona who put her to pasture for almost 2 years. I bought her in 2025. I bought her under the pretense that she was dressage prospect, which was not accurate after I purchased her. I found the YouTube video. She’s happy in the arena to work. I’m think she could excel in Western Dressage. She’s got a good mind and is an agreeable horse. She stands fine for the farrier and trailer loads like a pro.
I’m trying to think of something that is a turn off or a vice but thus far I haven’t seen anything.
