Mr. Moonlight is a 19 year old Standardbred gelding looking for his forever home at no fault of his own.
He used to race and won a little over $100,000 during his career and sired by Sierra Kosmos.

He’s 15.2-3hh, he’s a gentle giant, stands to be mounted, LOVES treats, enjoys being loved on, has the kindest eyes, and will be a wonderful addition to your family.
He just finished a refresher, is completely sound, has good feet and legs.
He is traffic safe, rides in a hack, has done arena work, trail obstacles, will ride bareback, paces and will trot when asked.

Moonlight is scared though, he takes a short time to warm up to people, he has to learn that you’re a safe person for him and that he’s safe. Which is what makes this difficult post difficult. Life and people weren’t always kind to him and he needs his forever home. A home that will be patient with him as he learns you and you learn him, a home with so much love to give they don’t know what to do with it other than pour it into this majestic creature. A home that when they say forever, they mean it.
He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, he just needs to know not every human is scum. With that being said, Moonlight would be better suited for an experienced rider.

He’s gonna make someone a really great trail horse and best friend.
Take him on adventures, take him to shows, just whatever you do, love him because he truly deserves all the good things this world has to offer him.
