Cricket is a fun, entertaining and safe horse for an equine knowledgeable family. He has been my main horse for the last 7 years and has tons of riding hours, both in Endurance, Working Equitation and Dressage Work. He takes care of his younger riders but can move out at a nice ground covering walk, trot or canter when asked. I've been riding him in the USAWE sport, now level 2 and he is a willing partner. Stays in hot fence or high tie. He is good on all the obstacles including backward, forward gates, carrying the guaracha pole, bridges, livestock pen, backing, bell ringing, he loves it all. He does drop lead changes well and is very sensitive to leg cues. He really loves the trails and is not afraid of water or bridge crossings. I ride alone alot and he is not buddy sour. He loads easily. Been hauled alot, been around cattle and ridden lots of big country. He is great with his feet. He's been shod or ridden many years as barefoot with protective boots. I'm sad to see him go, but I have youngers coming up and not time to ride them all.
