Citali is a 15 yr old 15.1hh gelding. I wouldn’t even be considering selling him, however, my daughter is getting more serious into horses and I can not commit all the time he needs while I am working with her.
The pros: He is super sweet, first to meet me in the pasture, is super willing, has tons of buttons: Can slide stop, moves off leg pressures, can wear a bit, bosal, or side pull. ( He prefers the side pull but will ride with any) He’s a pleaser
The Con: He NEEDS consistency!!!!! He is not the horse you can let sit for months and think you can just get up and go. It won’t happen. He is an insecure horse and would rather be with a group. He will ride alone and I have done it most of the time with him but he is more comfortable with another horse. With some consistency as I said I think he would get out of this I just dont have the time.
He does not respond to aggression. He needs patience and understanding and he will walk though fire for you. When I was able to give him the time he came leaps and bounds! But then he sat for awhile.
Again I would love to keep him but my daughter comes first over my wants. He’s gonna make someone an amazing Horse that has the time to spend with him.
