Bruno (jc Bruno Frigerio) is an 18 year old lightly raced ex-chaser who loves to jump and does it well! In the cross country field, in the ring, on the trails, if you point Bruno at it, he’s going to jump it. He’s been eventing for the past several years and just took his 15 year old rider to pony club champs for the Tetrathalon where he won the high point TIP award. At home, he is a lower level schoolmaster type who is a little lazy on the flat and forward but very rateable over fences. At shows Bruno can get tense which he shows by getting prancy and tight in his back. He is best suited for a confident rider who will laugh off a buck or two and kick on to the next fence. He is super brave, not at all spooky, and with consistency and regular outings his show behavior becomes as good as his at home behavior. Other than needing front glue ons and pads (which he takes good care of as any man of taste should) and daily Equioxx to maintain joint health he doesn’t need any special maintenance or care.
