Tyra is a very smart 7 yr old mare who is ready for just about any discipline; dressage, eventing, cross country- she is athletic and sound. I have been riding her a little this summer as an advanced beginner and I am not having any issues on the trails. We have not had the chance to cross water, but she has taken deer, new landscape, construction crews all in stride. My daughters (horse help) are now going back to college and I cannot keep up with Tyra and my others: She has so much potential that I am seeing if a great quality home is looking for a horse like Tyra. She loves the trails, easy keeper, not mareish, willing to learn. Has a solid foundation and ready to go in any direction. Barefoot and very solid hooves, great manners. LIke all Friesians they can be heat sensitive so I do suggest inside during the days in summer and out at night. She has great manners in the barn. Currently in from 10 to 6 and with hay and a wet meal. Not alpha with our gelding who she shares a space with. Please contact for videos and pictures.
