Jack is a 9 year old, 16.1hh OTTB gelding with a very sweet and willing personality! He spent most of his time after the track breeding as a stallion, with occasional light work and is now at Mythos to try his hand at a second riding career and find his calling as a gelding! Jack has been very easy under saddle, with a super quiet personality, even when he was a stallion! He does have a couple old injuries (though they are mostly cosmetic and have caused no issues) that MAY (so far, nothing!) keep him from a higher level career, but despite needing front shoes, he has not needed any other maintenance so far! This guy has a wonderful, easy going personality and is extremely kind and willing! He also is a really lovely mover, with big floating gaits! He is riding well on the flat and has been started over fences! He has been out on the trail, often preferring to lead the group, and is super brave! He’s been jumping 2’ to 2’3” courses and has been cross country schooling, easily doing Starter and Beginner Novice! We have no doubt he’ll find his calling as a fun trail, Dressage, Eventing or pleasure mount! He’s also now being used in lessons, both jumping and on the flat, so could easily go that route! If we’re taking a group cross country schooling and someone needs a horse, Jack is usually a first pick and takes care of his riders! If someone can look past his scars, this horse will be a phenomenal partner; he is easily one of the favorites of the working students at Mythos! Check the website for updates!
