16 year old mustang mare. Approx 14.3- 15hh Janesville Ca.
Mainly has been used as a trail horse. I’ve had her for about 11 years now. Has been barefoot most of her life and does not need shoes unless regularly ridden on rocky terrain. Stands well for the farrier.
Rides out alone or does well with other horses. Walk, trots, lopes, side passes, spins, moves off leg, knows her leads well. She loads well in a slant or stock trailer, but I haven’t tried to load her in a straight load in about 9-10 years. Very easy keeper and can be pastured with mares or geldings. Low on the pecking order.

Recently x-rays showed minor arthritis in her right front fetlock. Currently she is on previcox and is comfortable. Could be a candidate for joint injections.

Reason for sale, I am currently pregnant and have too many horses. Sadly she is just not one I ride often anymore. I do not think she is suited for a child or beginner. She can be hot and will jig. Negotiable to the right home. Would really like to see this mare land in a home that will love her and give her the attention she deserves.
