Beau, as his name suggests, is one handsome gelding with the breeding, build, and foundation to make a really nice horse. We see solid potential for him to excel as a working cow horse or rope prospect, but he has the kind of start that leaves plenty of room for his next owner to take him in the direction that best suits them. Bred and raised on the Nevada range, Beau came home with us as a weanling for our then 14-year-old daughter. As any horse-crazy teenage girl would, she has spent countless hours with him over the years. He has been handled, loved on, and given a solid foundation both on the ground and under saddle. Beau has a good start under saddle and is ready for someone to take that foundation and develop him into the horse they want him to be. He has no bad habits, is easy to catch, ties, good for the farrier, and an easy keeper. He's the kind of horse that has had the time and handling put into him without being finished into one particular discipline, giving his next owner the opportunity to make him their own. This isn't a horse we're selling because we need him gone. Our daughter has traded one expensive dream for another and has aspirations of becoming a nurse—and we all know nursing school isn't cheap! Selling Beau will help her take that next step toward her future. He's been part of her story since he was a weanling, so finding him a good home where his potential will be appreciated is important to us.
