Forest is a 10 year old Bay off the track Thoroughbred. He has been ridden mostly in English disciplines. His plan was to be a eventing horse, however my path has changed. He has been started over ground poles and worked mostly in the arena. He is a decent trail horse but needs a consistent confident rider. Forest is a very sweet boy and with the right person, will make a great team. Forest needs consistency but I only get to work with him periodically.
Forest stands well for a farrier and decent ground manners but needs a firm and kind hand. Forest does weave and paws when he is bored but the pawing had lessened over the years.
Forest is not a beginner’s horse and needs someone with riding experience.
He is turned out every day and brought in at night into a paddock. Forest does well in a herd and plays nice with the other horses.
