This will be an honest ad, she is a project and far from perfect. Price reflects project status.

We have had her for 2.5 years. We bought her for our daughter, but she is too green and opinionated for our kid's more timid personality. Happy to answer any questions via DM. Located in Spanish Springs.

Pros:
-Sound at all gaits
-Wants to be loved and bond with her people but its clear someone was not kind to her earlier in life. I know it was not the person that had her befor me, but other than that I dont know much about her past.
-Grooms, ties, and stands for the farrier
-Saddles and rides at the walk and trot
-She is super cute
-if you want to get on her and walk trot around an arena for days without doing much else she is your gal.
-Loves being groomed
-Loves kids.
-Loves warm blankets and generally being pampered.
-longes in a round pen, though its clear she was never taught to longe in an open arena
-Her farrier says she has great feet and hoof confirmation
-Lowest on the pecking order
-Does fine by herself or with others.
-Does fine out to pasture or in a stall.
-Our kid constantly jumps up her bareback in the yard with a halter.

Cons:
-On the lazier side.
-The biggest issue: Does not canter under saddle. She will trot at a thousand miles per hour forever. Does canter at will and when asked longeing. Does not exhibit any signs or symptoms that would suggest pain, but she has not been put through extensive testing. We bought her knowing the previous owner had not tried to canter her. I have recently gotten a few steps here and there, but its a fight and I dont want to work that hard and my kid definitely cant.
-She is not soft in the mouth, we have been working on this and making progress with steady, light hands.
-Slightly downhill confirmation
-Basically I would consider her green broke. She knows left and right, some flexibility of her body, basic circles, etc. she has clearly never been expected to do much more than go straight ahead along a fence.
-Is hard to catch in a pasture environment without food, with food you are her best friend. Luna lives for food.
-Due for floating
-Mostly white=hard to keep clean without blankets
-She took roughly 4-6 months to truly settle at our house, in that time she was on the nervous side, please keep this in mind for her future transition and know you will need to give her this time to feel comfortable in her new surroundings.


I think she could be great if someone has the time to spend on he, truly teaching her everything, but she is too small for me to ride regularly enough to bring her along for our daughter and I need something that will give my kid confidence and let her have fun. She is too much of a beginner for this pony to be her match and it is starting to take a toll on her love of riding. That being said she has been riding her the last 2.5 years and has learned a lot.
