SD Commando Cat aka Manny is a 2022 AQHA dappled liver chestnut gelding. He stands 15.0 hh on a stick. This gelding is an absolute lover boy and has been a joy to be around. Manny has well over a year of professional training and is broke, broke!. He’s about as solid as they come. He is the same horse every day, whether you ride 6 days a week or once a month. No prep, no lunging, just get on and enjoy. This gelding is well bred and it shows. He is ready to go and be someone’s cow horse, trail horse, or I can see him doing many other things. In the arena, he has a nice and balanced walk, trot, canter. Manny is low headed with nice vertical and lateral flexion when asked. This gelding stops nice and backs up soft. He will side pass each way and turns around each way easily. Manny rides in a ring snaffle and will ride two handed or will neck rein as well. This gelding moves off your seat and leg well and is very athletic and soft, but isn’t overly feely where you feel like he’s going to come out from under you. He has been trail ridden and does everything right. Manny isn’t fearful of water, mud, etc. This gelding isn’t the typical looky/spooky cow bred horse. He is lower on the totem pole in the herd and will catch you in the field. Manny is a sweetheart and loves to be messed with. This gelding stands tied all day, is good for baths and the farrier, and loads/unloads/hauls like a pro. He is currently wearing front shoes for trail riding, but has nice solid, dark feet. Manny is sound with no vices or bad habits. Up to date on coggins, vaccinations, worming, dental work, and farrier. Here is a super solid, sweet, and talented gelding that would suit about anyone!
