Socks is a 2025 black crossbred colt. Dam was an Amish workhorse, mostly Belgian with some Standardbred. Sire is a 100% foundation Morgan. Socks is the 3rd colt out of this mare/stallion combo and this cross never fails! Size, bone, movement, intelligence, quiet demeanor, and eager to please. Expected to finish 17hh (his 2023 brother has broken 18hh) and 1300lbs+. Light enough to last for miles as a saddle or carriage horse, heavy enough to stand up to as many hard days as the job requires. Socks is correct with one blemish on his right rear leg - he had a laceration and while he's sound, there is still a spot left where the hair may or may not come all the way back.

Unexpected time constraints have limited his training, he's halter broke and not much more. Working now on tying and lifting feet. Smart and eager to please, just needs someone who can put in the time with him. He's been vaccinated and dewormed, I've not yet gelded or pulled wolf teeth.
