Hard to find big stout roan horses, especially mares, over here in NC. This mare produced a stunning strawberry roan overo double, when bred to my one hot krymsun stallion that went on to do great things. Then she produced a palomino roan, then a grullo, then another palomino. Open by choice. she is easy to pasture breed or AI, gentle to handle with a foal at side, she is good for the vet and farrier. I am restructuring my program and making major changes, which is the only reason she is for sale. Her grullo daughter is also available, as well as a grey full double, and a few other colored mares (black, dun, roan, etc) will make deals on multiples This mare is NN for all EXCEPT gbed. She is a carrier. That has no bearing/symptoms at all if they are carriers just do not want to breed to another carrier. Ruby was broke to ride and rode trails, and did some futurities before she was injured in the pasture(fence incident when she went home for the winter from the trainers) and her broodmare career started.
