Hondo - Grade Mid Teens Gelding.
Meet Hondo. He's been giving lessons and is our go to guy for catch rides for the last couple of years. He's not what I would call a beginner horse because he can be more go the whoa. He's extremely broke and has done a little of everything under the sun. Trail rides, gaming shows, worked cattle, showmanship, western, english, parades, grand entry, etc .. you name it.
I would call him quirky. He's buddy sour at times but RARELY under saddle. We have hauled him alone lots. He has a tongue thing he does when riding (no changing the bit won't help) that is goofy but harmless. He's upper middle in a herd setting and will stand up for himself. Hard ties well but does wiggle.
He's large. 16.1hh. Barefoot. He's not going to be a cheap date but we do want to find him the love he deserves. He's living in Sutherlin, Oregon.
