Izzy is a 23 year old (aged by equine dentist) 15 hh liver chestnut grade mare. She is sound but does have mild, age related arthritis. Up to date on everything. Teeth floated and vaccines in August 2026. Feet trimmed every 7-8 weeks and stands perfectly for the farrier. She prefers trails over arena work and loads/hauls like a champ. She does great barefoot but I would recommend shoes if regularly on trails/rocks. She can be lazy but is not a deadhead. I don’t consider her a beginner/lesson horse because she will test her rider if she thinks she can get away with it. She’s a red head and has sass. She’s kind of like a cat and will decide when she wants attention and snuggles. I have had her for 4 years and have minimal information prior to owning her. We are only selling her because my daughter’s horses will be traveling for extended periods and she doesn’t enjoy being on her own. I think she is best suited for a light riding home with companions.
