Meet Mr. Rango Tango (“Tango”) 🖤🤍 13.2H Black & White Pinto Welsh Pony Cross 💰 $12,000 📍 Fruitland, Idaho Tango has been my daughter’s main mount since she was in diapers. He is the definition of an all-around, been-there-done-that kid’s pony. Barrels, poles, gymkhana games, horse camp, parades, swimming, trail riding, hauling around, and just about every adventure a kid could dream up. Tango has been there for it. He’s safe, fun, experienced, and has given my daughter an incredible amount of confidence over the years. So why are we selling him? Laramie has decided she wants a, quote-unquote, “fancy show horse” and wants to pursue the AQHA circuit. That’s simply not Tango’s cup of tea. He hasn’t competed in 4-H, but I absolutely believe he would make a wonderful 4-H, local/open show, gaming, trail, horse camp, or all-around family pony. We’re softly listing him because I’m not entirely convinced Laramie understands that when he’s sold… he’s sold. And I know exactly what we have. Someone is going to fall in love with this pony. A Note About Maintenance Tango did founder several years ago and requires proper hoof management. He currently wears specialty shoes and pads and does very well with them. We also keep his diet pretty simple. He looks great, moves great, and feels great. My husband is a farrier and is more than happy to explain Tango’s current shoeing program, help with his feet when feasible, or get his new family pointed in the right direction. We want to be completely transparent about his history because finding the right home for this pony matters far more to us than simply selling him. $12,000 Reasonable offers may be considered to the right home. PPE is absolutely welcome at the buyer’s expense, and transport can be arranged. I know I couldn’t replace this pony for $12,000. Truthfully, that number doesn’t even begin to touch what he’s given my daughter in confidence, experience, and memories. This is a genuinely special pony who has spent years taking care of my little girl. Some horses are replaceable. Tango isn’t. 🖤
