I raised this horse, and I really wanted to get to a point where I bred red, bay or black mares to him and had nothing but buckskins every single year. He is homozygous agouti, black and cream, so he can ONLY produce buckskins with EVERY red, bay or black mare that is bred to him.

Hes basically a "double buckskin" and throws it every time. He has lots of babies out there that are showing and trail riding all over the east coast and a few scattered out west. He was broke to ride, had a little over a year of professional training in reining and cowhorse basics, then I had life changes go on and he came on home and just bred some mares.

He is sound, he is gentle, he hasnt been collected but he doesnt mind any handling while he is breeding and is easy to handle and breed so I do not think it would be a big deal to get that done. He is used to breeding in hand or turned out. He has bred great big belgian mares and little quarter ponies. He sires size, good footed and pretty headed horses consistently. He is very smooth and very fluid to watch him go around. Some of his babies are running barrels. His sire was a barrel racing horse before we got him. His dam was a team roping horse and consistently in the money all over the east coast.

I just have to really focus in one direction with my program. I bought my own place a few years ago and I just have too much left to finish to get it set up the way I want to really breed the mares and do the baby thing. I have a few other stallions, a father and son I need to streamline my program one direction or another, which is why Spinny is for sale.

I have him priced to reflect the fact you could really market him or get him riding around again and pay for him easily in the first year of mares. I would consider a half/half partnership thing on him too, if someone has any ideas on that we can discuss.

He is negative for the new IMM as well as all the genetic diseases EXCEPT he carries a GBED copy. That is harmless in singular form but you do NOT breed two together. As long as you test your mares and are doing things responsibly, you will be fine.
