Maggie is a 16 hand 8 year old black Friesian cross mare. If you want to get noticed this is the horse for you! She’s hunted half a dozen times in second field. She’s forward and fun, but not hard to ride. She has gone past cows, horses, and goes right through water. She has a beautiful, long stride that is extremely comfortable to ride. In the arena, she is schooling basic dressage and jumping 2’6” courses. She has easily schooled 3’ with scope for more. She’s a scopey jumper and is smart with her feet, so could make a good first field horse, as well. She’s also been to a half a dozen schooling jumper shows. She is mannerly at shows, just as she is as at home; you can get her off the trailer and get right on, no prep needed. She is extremely leggy and slight bodied, so perfect for people with back or hip problems. She is fit, has been showing and hunting this year, so is ready to hunt or show for her new person! Maggie is very kind and absolutely loves attention. Loads perfectly, ties, no vices. Maggie has also been trail ridden in western tack so could make a nice family horse.
