Has never raced…he’s so laid back I’m not surprised!
If you’re looking for a buddy to go on lazy Sunday rides in the park, he’s your guy. SUPER SMOOTH with a really soft mouth and rides in a Snaffle. Has miles and miles of trails under his hooves. This horse LOVES going out on trail rides. Strides out bravely, sure footed and not a bit spooky. Happy to go alone or with a group, likes to be in front but will accept last in line also. Huck is so sweet and kind, no buck or rear….that wud require too much effort.
He has one speed….slow gear.
He stands like a perfect gentleman for the shoer, vet, getting baths, saddling, doctoring blanketing and anything else you want to do with him.
This is a big boy with a long body so he does require a large portion of food but is not a fussy eater and cleans his dish every meal. Sound for trail riding only and doesn’t require any special maintenance or special shoes. He has a bump on his right front from an old splint.
Huckleberry has a very playful goofy personality, everything is a potential toy to him. He’s smart and uses his lips like hands to play with everything.

He gets on good in a herd but will be low in the pecking order. Not a bit herd bound, good to load, haul and unload, does not pull back, paw or kick.
Up to date on shots, worming, shoes and dental.
His laid back funny nature brightens the day just to be around him.
Very sad sale, his owner has recently been diagnosed with a serious illness and can no longer care for him. Price reflects her need to get him sold and not a reflection on Huck. This is a really sweet horse that just wants to be your buddy and needs someone to love him as his mom did.
