ZZ is a kind, gentle Morgan mare looking for a safe, permanent retirement home where she can enjoy the next chapter of her life.
Although she has not been ridden in approximately 13–14 years, ZZ has the temperament, willingness, and quiet nature that suggest she could become a lovely light pleasure horse again with time, patience, and a thoughtful restart. She would also make an exceptional companion for someone looking for a calm, dependable mare.
ZZ is truly a pleasure to have around the barn. She is:

-Gets along well with both mares and geldings

Like many easy keepers, ZZ has begun showing signs of metabolic instability. She will do best with an owner who understands appropriate weight management, controlled grazing, and proper nutrition. With proper management, we expect her to continue living a happy, healthy, and comfortable life.
Finding the right home is our highest priority. We are committed to placing ZZ in a knowledgeable, loving, and permanent home where she will be valued and well cared for.
Because of that commitment, all prospective homes will be carefully vetted. Personal and veterinary references are required, and a placement contract will accompany her to ensure that if circumstances ever change, ZZ will be returned to us rather than sold or passed from home to home. Our goal is to ensure she always has a safe place to land.
To help make her transition as stress-free as possible, we will personally transport ZZ to her new home so we can see where she will be living and help ensure she settles into the best possible environment.
