Ultimate Pony Club / 2'6" Step-Up Schoolmaster

This is an incredibly difficult horse for us to offer for sale, but with my daughter moving on from riding and my horse allergies becoming increasingly difficult to manage, it's time to find this very special mare her next kid.

16-year-old, 16.1h, big-bodied registered Thoroughbred mare with an extensive résumé in hunters, jumpers, eventing, and Pony Club. She is the definition of a been-there, done-that schoolmaster and would be an exceptional step-up horse for a junior looking to gain confidence, experience, and independence at 2'6" and beyond.

She has competed through 3'3" in the hunters and jumpers and truly shines in the hunter ring. She has evented through Novice, including competing at Novice at Rebecca Farm this summer, and is currently showing at 2'9".

She has years of Pony Club experience and recently helped a Pony Club rider successfully earn her C-2 certification. She has been to camps, rallies, clinics, lessons, horse shows, and events and knows her job. I can put pretty much any solid D-3-and-up rider on her and trust her to take care of them. Just this fall, several Pony Club kids rode her at camp, and she happily adjusted to each rider and went to work.

She is brave and honest to the jumps, forgiving of mistakes, and has enough education to teach a rider without needing a professional ride to keep her going. She is a wonderful confidence builder for a kid ready to move up from a pony or first horse, while still having plenty to offer as that rider progresses.

She is good to load, haul, shoe, and handle on the ground. No history of lameness and currently requires no maintenance. She has had an exceptionally well-cared-for and somewhat ridiculously pampered life, and I would very much like that to continue. ❤️

And, just for fun, she even became a bit of a celebrity this summer—she and her rider were featured on the cover of Missoula Valley Lifestyle while out doing what she does best.
