Rides and drives. Amos is working on his ground manners as he is a little pushy on the ground but takes correction well. Smart boy who is learning to respectfulof personal space. Built for comfort not speed Amos would excel as a therapy or lesson horse. Stands on cross-ties, picks up his feet well, enjoys being groomed, saddles and bridles well, he does lunge both directions w/t. Rides English and Western, trailrides. He is responsive to leg cues, yields to leg, and has good breaks, he is very adjustable in his pace, will go faster paced when asked but will also come back nicely if preferred. He needs work on his canter but was willing to try, overall a nice boy, he’s as comfy as a couch, you could sit on him all day on the trails or in the ring. Stands at the mounting block. Exposed to farm animals, wildlife, vehicles, farm equipment and dogs. Turned out in a mixed herd, higher in herd hierarchy. Has good feet, currently barefoot. Good for the vet and farrier. Can be stalled or turned out. No cribbing or testing fences. No vices, maintenance or health issues.
