Playful, fun energy. Gets along well with other horses. Is good in the barn and out. Easy keeping, doesnt require anything special.

Chico produces three fantastic gaits with plenty of reach and elasticity. He is a comfortable ride, always gets his leads. Has been put in both English and western tack although for us he is more a sportpony type and best suited to the English disciplines. Has had lots of ground work done - tarps, long lining, etc.
Has done poles and started small courses u/s - both stadium and XC. Unfortunately due to the limited opportunities around us he has not yet been shown.
He has spent much of his life hanging out and being a pet, was a later start and so his body has not had much wear and tear. He is currently in a working program. Has been exposed to trail riding and loves it. Not very spooky but may stop and look at new things, pressure forward keeps his attention on the current task.

Chico is very pretty type with an elegant head, long neck, smooth features throughout, good legs with substance without being bulky.
A nice size for a ladies mount or step up for kids coming off ponies.

All the hard stuff is done now take him for the discipline of your choice and polish him up!
He would be easy enough for an ammy to continue bringing along with their coach.

He will continue along in training with us and used as a lesson horse until the next home for him comes along.
