Butler is Belgian x Morgan (1/16 Morgan). The Morgan influence is realized in his movement. He knows where his feet are and he’s a nicer mover than you’d expect in a draft. He’s a wonderful mount for just about any rider. He’s super happy to ride out, and is good anywhere in the group (lead, middle, back). I’ve owned him since he was weened. Butler was brought under saddle professionally in a solid program akin to Dressage. He embraces the challenges of foxhunting and working equitation with style. He stands nicely for the farrier and vet. I prefer shoes due to our terrain, but he can easily remain barefoot. Butler is a gentleman in the barn, is quiet in the crossties, loves baths, and does not have any bad vices. Never had an injury. Never sick or colicy. My husband doesn’t ride anymore, so my riding is limited and it’s with a heavy heart that I find someone who will pick his reins up from here. Negotiable.
