16.1 TB gelding. 6 years old
Snickers is for sale due to no fault of his own. His adult amateur owner purchased him in the Spring of 2025 when she wanted to get back into riding, but he was greener than expected. He received minimal training after his purchase, and we met him when he arrived at our barn this summer. He started training board in August 2026, and while he’s improving he and his owner just aren’t the right match.
Snickers is still green on the flat and over fences. He is not a beginners horse and not for a timid rider. He would do best staying in a consistent program with pro rides or a experienced and confident junior/adult with access to a trainer for lessons.
With more training he could dabble in lower level Hunters/Jumpers or may enjoy being a trail horse, hilltopper or possibly 2nd field fox hunter. I don’t anticipate he’d make a good 3ft horse, and would be likely do best at 2' - 2'3.
Due to the amount of time he had off, the current priority is to get him fit and build muscle before advancing his workload. Currently he is working on transitions, balance and ground poles. He has not been asked for a lead changes.
Sound and has no vices.
Last raced 2024 with 22 starts.
