5 year old grade appendix gelding
Kind of a “sit for a while & just get on & go” type of guy.
Ready to go any direction; would look very nice in a dressage or English discipline. Soft in the face & drives up nice into the bridle. Moves off leg pressure, responsive to seat.
Loads & unloads quietly, stands for farrier, bathes (LOVES water), not cinchy, great on the trail, carries a flag, been shot off of (doesn’t love mounted shooting), hauled quite a bit.. roped off of, good with cows.
not for super green rider but Teddy is very tolerable to beginner riders. Smoothest lope you’ll ever ride!
His personality is very personal, he’s always in your pocket.
His only con: can get clumsy at the working trot if not collected. This is lack of muscle and just being lazy, that will get better with more consistent riding.
