meet dixie! a beautiful 9yo mare. she was bred and born on a ranch in southern oregon and sold as a 3yo to a breeding program. she has successfully had 2 beautiful fillies. she would be a great addition to a breeding program as a recip mare or would make a lovely family horse in the future. she’s great for the vet and farrier. loads and hauls great. ties all day! w/t/c on a lunge line. she is sound and utd on everything. super easy keeper as well! great with other horses and prefers to be in a herd like setting. she can be a bit hesitant toward new people and has her moments of being hard to catch. she’s worn a saddle on several occasions and i have put weight on her (she was amazing!). i’m sure she would be super easy to get going under saddle. i unfortunately just don’t have the time and need to thin out my herd for financial reasons. i really love this mare and she will only go to the best home!
