To no fault of his own, Whiskey is up for sale. Meet Whiskey. I originally bought him to be my next partner to go to shows and push me to the next level as a horseman. He is a mustang gelding who is chunky. He is barefoot and trimmed ever 6 to 7 weeks. He is UTD on shots, trims, wormer, and floating. When Whiskey came to me. He was highly flighty, would kick in a horse trailer, would buck under saddle. Ive owned Whiskey for about 5 years now. The vet aged him at 14 years.(i do have his papers from the BLM from last owner) Whiskey has had chiropractic work which solved his bucking issues under saddle. Whiskey is not a finished horse. He is a project. Ive built a bond with him. He is green broke due to me working 50 hrs a week and becomming a first time mom. Whiskey picks up his feet and stands to be trimmed for the farrier well. I always lunge every horse before I ride. Whiskey can free lunge or on a line. Whiskey is sensative to body language on the ground. In the saddle he goes off of your seat. He is a bit on the lazy side. But if you show him you mean it he will go. I ride him with a back cinch and spurs. He rides in a bit or a sidepull. With training and consistency he will be a great partner. Whiskey eats Teff hay and is a very easy keeper. Dude looks at a donut and gains wieght. He is good with dogs as long as they dont chase or bite him. Feel free to text for videos and any other information. 916-595-0414
