project gelding “PQF Maximum mayhem” 5 year old black over APHA gelding. “Eightball” has been with us since he was 2. *I personally have never been on his back. This one is not trained in anyway by me. I made the mistake of sending him off to be started when I was pregnant 2 years ago instead of doing it myself. With that being said he has had probably over 8 months of riding/training with 3 different trainers inconsistently over 2 years. He walks, jogs, lopes, moves off legs has some collection, has been trail rode. The bad: He is insecure needs consistency and a confident rider and someone to just ignore him and push him through. I don’t think being cowboyed is what he needs, he’s not an outlaw. But needs wet saddle blankets. He has bucked twice under saddle before, but his go to is more skittish and gets Squirrely. He comes around and rides nice and quiet after and many days would be really good from the start, but he will probably try that again. He’s a pretty mover, hauls good, good for the farrier, ties, kind on the ground and doesn’t want to be mean and is going to make a very big money gelding when finished. I have over double into him and just taking the loss at this point. Im not willing to get on pregnant and take the risk. 6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ for an uncomplicated sale. He may buck again or he may scoot again or he may try nothing and ride good but he is being sold with the buyer knowing this. If I have time to fix him later I will and his price will be MUCH higher, but I’d rather focus on my show horses. He’s young, as pretty as they come, he’s a nice size (15.1-15.2) and a nice mover. Experienced riders/trainers only, or be willing to send him to a trainer. Athol, ID Call or text for details
