Meet Royal, a smart and striking 8-year-old Warlander gelding (Friesian / Andalusian cross) standing just a little over 15.2 hands with big, kind brown eyes and a solid build capable of carrying a heavier rider. He is an overall fun and friendly horse with a wealth of exposure. Trail & Traffic Safe: A fine trail horse with extensive experience on group trail rides down at the Buffalo National River, navigating rugged terrain, water crossings, and tarps. He is not spooky at all, crosses bridges, rides right through town, and is accustomed to wheelers, dirt bikes, gunfire, and livestock (cows, pigs, dogs, goats, chickens). Advanced Training & Versatility: Side-passes both ways, backs, moves his front and hind quarters, rides bareback or double, and was ridden successfully in the Harrison parade. He is a fast learner who could excel in jumping, ranch work, play days, dressage, or trail riding. Handling & Ground Manners: Easy to catch, stands wonderfully to saddle and bridle, good for the farrier, and loads and backs out of a trailer effortlessly. (Note: He has a visible scar on his nose of unknown origin that has been treated and improved). Rider Suitability: While he is gentle, loves children, and gives kids rides, he can have "a little more go than whoa sometimes," so he is not recommended as an ideal beginner horse. Veterinary Inspection: Backed by a physical examination from Harrison Animal Clinic (Dr. Heath Jones, DVM) dated October 3, 2025, showing normal findings across all checked health and structural parameters. Affectionate, athletic, and full of heart, Royal is ready to be your next loyal trail companion or versatile performance partner!
