Spirit is a handsome 5-year-old grade Quarter Horse gelding with a beautiful buckskin coat, a big, sturdy build, and a kind eye. He is sound, versatile, and has been a wonderful partner both in and out of the arena.

He’s been exposed to a little bit of everything, including roping, cattle sorting, trail riding, jumping, polo, and has been ridden both English and Western. On the trail, Spirit is confident and dependable. He willingly crosses water and bridges and is a brave, safe horse who enjoys getting out and exploring. Easy to open and close gates on.

Spirit has a nice handle and is responsive. I think he’d be a great all around horse for a confident young rider or adult. He could also be a good roping prospect or cattle sorting horse and has won money in cattle sorting events. He’d likely be a solid ranch horse too as he’s brave, cowy and sturdy.

On the ground, he has the sweetest, “in-your-pocket” personality, loves people, and will happily come to meet you in the field. He’s the kind of horse who forms a bond with his person and is a joy to have around the barn. Stands, ties and loads. No vices.

This is an incredibly difficult sale, and I am only parting with Spirit due to financial reasons. He means the world to me, so finding him a loving, knowledgeable home is my highest priority.
