Hello! I'm returning to riding after a long hiatus. I'm looking for an in your pocket trail horse that is safe for the whole family, not spooky, no buck, etc., confidence building horse to lease for a year or two or perhaps lease to own. In truth I'm looking for two horses. Our neighbor has a well established boarding stable, right across the street. We are surrounded by miles of trails and lots of horses. Looking for a horse that is desensitized to dogs, cars, etc. Can pay for transport for the right horse. Was looking at draft horses too, looking for gentle giants, but I am only 5'2". Husband is 5'10" and could go higher. If there is a mix out there of the mind of a draft horse (or equivalent) and on the shorter side, or if you have a horse that matches this description, please reach out to me. Thank you.
