John Wayne is an 8 year old gelding that has done a bit of everything. He has had ropes tossed off him, penned cows for fun, trail ridden all over the place and been ridden English and Western as well as some bridleless. When he was younger he gave sledding rides to kids. He would be most suited for someone who knows how to ride because he is smart and pretty quick. JW trailers well and ties exceptionally. He likes to be in the front of the pack on a trail ride, he never gets tired and could go all day. He is barefoot and completely sound. If you are looking for a horse that gets tired out in a short period , he is not your guy. If you are looking for a horse who can trail ride all day and then when you put him into a corral he looks at you like whats next? Then he just might be your guy! LIterally everyone loves JW and he loves everyone. I have many videos of him. He is UTD on all vaccines 9/30/2026.
