9-year-old mare | Approx. 15.1hh | Sandy, OR
Reyanne is a very special mare looking for her forever person. She is a well-bred cow horse who was trained under Josh Sleeman during her 2–3-year-old years and has since gone on to excel in a variety of disciplines, including showmanship, reining, gaming, barrel racing, sorting, and roping.
Reyanne absolutely loves having a job. She is happiest working cows, sorting, doing ranch work, roping or heading out on the trail. She is a talented, athletic mare who can go in many different directions and has a lot to offer the right person. Down the road she would make an excellent brood mare as well.
Reyanne has also been exposed to the rodeo atmosphere, having worked cows this past summer at the Crooked River Round-Up PRCA Rodeo and participated in the Grand Entry at the St. Paul Rodeo. She handles getting out, seeing new places, and having a job, making her a fun and versatile mare for someone looking for a horse with experience beyond the arena.
She was raced consistently with Amy Smith for 8months of barrel training in 2023. Reyanne is a 3D-4D barrel horse, with the ability to be very competitive. She is a catty, athletic cow horse but needs a confident, calm, patient, and consistent rider who understands her and can help her feel confident. She is a very smart mare who takes things to heart and thrives with someone who builds a relationship with her.
I truly believe Reyanne could go in so many different directions with the right person. More than anything, I want to find her a forever home where she will be loved, appreciated, and given a job she enjoys. ❤️
She is too special to just send anywhere, so finding the right fit is very important.
