Calvin Harris – 2018 Imported Connemara/Irish Draught cross gelding, standing 15.3 hands with Passport.

Calvin is the whole package and the ultimate amateur horse! He is safe, has beautiful movement in all three gaits, and has the best walk ever. He is a pleasure to handle on the ground, and I trust him around anyone

Calvin has competed in numerous schooling shows and two USEA events at Beginner Novice, proving himself to be extremely competitive and continuing to improve with time. He finished on his dressage score at both USEA events, scoring 31.2 and 29.1 and finishing second in each. The judges love his forward movement and beautiful walk, and he is consistently at the top of the leaderboard after dressage.

Calvin is full-blooded Irish, bold, and brave. He has never met a jump he didn’t like and is an absolute blast on cross-country! He fox-hunted in Ireland and loves all three phases in eventing. I have had him for five months, and he has never shied with me. I use him for lessons and fully trust him out on the trails and with beginner and intermediate riders.

Calvin could go in any direction, from dressage, jumpers, and hunters to trail riding. He is extremely well-rounded and up for anything. I believe he is best suited to the lower levels of eventing.

Calvin has both beauty and brains. He is an easy keeper, is barefoot and competed barefoot, no vices, loads, ties, UTD on everything. If you are looking for a safe, competitive horse you can have fun with, he’s your guy.
